When creating this track I felt as if I was floating while looking down at myself in a party atmosphere; my thoughts were in the past but the events were being played out in real life, at least for the first verse.”

Nicholas Jerrell Barron is an American rapper from Houma, Louisiana. Jerrell grew up alongside his single mother and four other siblings. Jerrell took the responsibility of becoming the man of the house. His absent father and hard life could have turned negative but Jerrell chose to create music as a healthy escape.

In his early teens Jerrell’s passion began with poetry but soon led him to the discovery of the music genre Hip-Hop. Jerrell then realized that music was much more than just a bunch of words. He was heavily inspired by the talents of “Mos Def”, “Talib Kweli” and the well known artist’s “Bone Thugs N Harmony”.

Over the years Jerrell decided that becoming the next big artist wasn’t the first thing on his bucket list. His mind was set on diving into the true art of music. Determined, Jerrell wrote numerous meaningful songs hoping they would someday be heard. These songs were brought to life in 2014 when he released “One Man One Sound”. One Man One Sound was the break through into Jerrell’s Hip-Hop career, where his dream of performing alongside Bizzy Bone of the legendary group Bone Thugs N Harmony came to life. Jerrell is constantly on the move achieving new heights already opening in several night clubs and venues over the years.

Jerrell isn’t stopping there as he is currently pursuing a career with the launch of his new business called “Lyrical Innovation” which is a new marketing and promotion company for independent recording artists. While he works on this new endeavor he continues to work on new exclusive projects for his growing fan base. We are eager to see where Jerrell ends up in his amazing quest for greatness.

BrandonR’s vocal flavor is playful as he spills his poetic lyrics onto a lovely melody filled with different instruments reminding us of well, .. “Those Dayz”.

BrandonR participated in church choir as a child until he was about 13. He always loved old school gospel which began with his late grandmother and grandfather’s church music group called the “Golden Harps.” The majority consisted of many talented family members that either played instruments or sang. He soaked up a lot of that in growing up which he credits them for the soulful energy and sound of his music that he displays.

BrandonR did some writing in high school but he was so focused on being a successful baseball player which he went on to pursue in college. It was hard for him to sit down & think on what would work for him musically.

Many people told him he could sing and to take advantage but he was timid and didn’t understand how to express himself musically at the moment instead of just letting it come naturally he stated in recent interviews. That taught him a lesson because he learned that you have to jump into things without thinking so much.

“After all, we’re going to make mistakes and will not be the best starting out”, BrandonR said in another interview.

Nevertheless, BrandonR is out there trying to get to the top of the game. BrandonR feels that R&B is not what it used to be, comparing it to the sound in the 90s, because the music has changed and because new beats have since been cultivated. If he was given one opportunity to change the face of the R&B industry, BrandonR believes that we need to try and get back to artists making their sounds more personal with a more genuine sound, even though there are still genuine artists out there.

BrandonR just dropped his latest single, “Save a Spot, which is dedicated to the memory of his grandmother and to the Coronavirus victims.

With 7 projects officially released including his most recent project “Save a Spot” and 2019 album “Mixed Feelings”, BrandonR brings “vibes with soulful melodies”. Recently joining the TBG family, BrandonR has many projects underway and cannot wait for you all to hear it.

Word Is Bond further reported the record as “armed with commanding and sublime vocals,” that “LEX implores listeners not to give in and keep fighting the good fight.”

LEX was only 19 years old when her father passed away. He had perfect pitch, played the piano, and loved all things music. She embodies her father’s passion for music in her own life as a singer-songwriter making her way in Los Angeles. “Sometimes I even write to break my own heart,” says LEX on “Bits and Pieces”.
